My practice focuses on construction litigation and contract drafting. I represent general contractors and owners in the prosecution and defense of claims on public and private construction projects. I have represented and counseled contractors in cases involving federal and state Miller Act and Prompt Payment Act claims, complex contractual disputes, delay claims, structural defects, government contracts, surety claims, and mechanic’s liens.
I have handled cases involving Miller and Little Miller Act claims, as well as employment matters involving the Department of Labor and the Fair Labor Standards Act. I have significant arbitration experience with construction disputes. I have handled cases in both state and federal courts, and have also drafted construction contracts and subcontracts by tailoring standard documents to meet clients’ needs. I have been recognized in Chambers as an Associate to watch in 2019, and have been recognized as a super Lawyer Rising Star since 2014.
I received my B.A. degree from Northwestern University and my law degree from the Catholic University of America Columbia School of Law. As a former Big Ten college athlete, I revel in the hard work and dedication it takes to win the best legal outcomes for clients.
